I can see (sort of) why they took Countdown off for a few weeks to cover horseracing - it is Goodwood this week - but next week it is replaced by back to back editions of Come Dine with Me which is outrageous. :twisted:

As mentioned elsewhere, this was a homage to Hitchcock's Rope not 'Psycho'. That film had only 3 or 4 takes but I think this was all done in one; if it was more than that then I didn't see the join, which means it was recorded as 'live' - a tremendous achievement.
