Re: 831

I may have been a young thing when it was broadcast, but I remember Richard saying something to Carol on the 2000th edition special (Spring-ish time '97?) about making sure to never say that a numbers game was impossible. It only twigged when reading this thread that it may have been a reference to ...

WeDigTV

Does anyone here visit WeDigTV now and again? It's a load of old gameshows put together in a way that you can play along. Countdown's on there, although it's pretty shoddy IMO, and the dictionary is way off and the letters selections are 9 times out of 10 dreadful, but Millionaire and Bullseye are p...

It's been removed and uploaded again once or twice, first time because there was no sound, second time, well, I don't know. Anyway, it appears to be back again:

Is there a way of checking to see who's already in the game before adding a character?

Not sure if this counts as a bug as such, but ever since Windows Vista has been installed on this computer (26th), I (a non-donator) have been able to access the entire game archive.

All well and good in victory - however, missed out on bagging 10 points in the last numbers by taking 2 away from 707, thinking, for some reason, that I was going for 705

Re: RIP Tony Durrant

Sad news. I thought he was quite fun to watch, particularly his banter with Des at the end of his final show about him only smiling when it was time to go home (or something along those lines) and had very obvious ability.

RIP and condolences to his family and friends.

Why did the orange stop rolling down the hill? It ran out of juice. Why was the butcher angry? Because the delivery boy sat on the mincer and got a little behind in his deliveries. Why don't gypsies need condoms? They have crystal balls so they can see it coming. How do you spot a blind man at a nud...

I noticed a slight difference, she seemed a bit down - I was thinking that they might have been filmed after she was informed of her proposed new deal but I could be wrong as I have no idea of the timing between filming and broadcast.

Re: Who would you like to see in DC?

I wouldn't mind seeing Griff Rhys Jones or Michael Palin on Countdown. Joseph's suggestion of Joe Pasquale reminded me of Roy 'RIGGHT' Walker, for some reason, and I think he'd be pretty decent in DC. Chalk up another one for Stephen Fry to return too :D and the slightly less likely selections from ...

French the only disappointment because I thought I aced th...

16. OMITCABLE = METABOLIC

Hi there, my name's Jay, and I'm 16.
