Ah, that's reassuring. Thought I was probably the only sad tosser who did that working out what 'might have been' thing!!!! EYELINES. Eyeline isn't listed as a mass noun, though strangely the entry beneath, eyeliner IS given as a mass noun - yet I've dozens of eyeliners in my make-up bag!
