The reason for the disruption was that Susie's eye didn't clear up, got more painful and she gave up after the morning's two recordings and went home. That afternoon recordings were cancelled, not sure when the rest of this week was recorded. Couldn't someone else who can read a dictionary stand in?

Can you really compare the effects of drugs in F1 to other sports? No. For simplicity, it makes sense only to have drug testing in sports where certain drugs are known to have a beneficial effect on performance. I'm not sure that this is the case in F1. Realistically, I think very few viewers would have a problem with a 15-game CofC with top players every couple of years or so. Not doing one is just the preference of the current Countdown team rather than anything else.
