Foreign place names in the UK

As far as I can remember, there are also America, Quebec, Melbourne and (if you can count it) Scotland. I've a feeling there's a Canada as well. And was Washington mentioned?

I thought TARMAC was a trademark, and therefore would be capitalised in the dictionary. Isn't it? Lots of them have become generic, like HOOVER and VASELINE.
