We don't directly elect leaders though so I think it's less of a big deal than some people make out. People don't necessarily actively complain but I get the feeling that 14-rounders aren't the most popular. They're certainly not my first choice.
I think 15-rounders for normal play can seem a bit much. A bit intense maybe playing the same person for that amount of time.

It could be argued that Capital Gains sometimes come in the form of risky investments (similar to gambling which is not taxed) so the tax on that should take into account the expected gains rather than just the actual gains.
