The reason I wasn't 100% sure is if MORTICE referred only to the noun and not the verb - a bit like PRACTICE if it weren't American. I was 95% sure, and Mike confirmed it, so I don't see where there's any contention here.

Pre-selected letters. Particularly for 10-second rounds. There's a definite advantage to be had with selecting 8 then pausing. Sound effects to indicate certain things like a game being initiated, a tile being selected etc. so you can do other shit between rounds and still know where you are in the ...

I had a look around some transport and decided a cab was probably much easier. I'll be getting to the station at about 10 so if anyone fancies sharing a cab to the venue for cost effectiveness and generally polite but awkward conversation, let me know here.

Consensual early round ending!!
Blind Countdown (each letter disappears as the next appears)
Fixed-time games (you have a certain amount of time, maybe 225 seconds, for all fifteen rounds, and you have to end rounds as and when you feel like it)

In the game summary thing where you click Next Round, it says "C1's letters" and the like, but it's not obvious that the name on the left means C1 to me. Maybe have that written by their names.

Cheers for both of those and yes - SEALANTS is one that can go either way I agree. It's about as unclear a case as you could ask for, putting GAMBIERS, CRYOLITES etc. to one side.
