Re: Books
Well, I've finished Lost Symbol. I'm afraid I found the ending disappointing again. I would liken it to eating cheap chocolate. Seems fine at first but by the time you've finished the bar, you wish you hadn't had so much. I'm not being a literary snob because I pretty much only read popular thriller...
Re: Books
I am half way through Lost Symbol at the moment. I agree that Dan Brown has some cracking ideas for stories. But I'm afraid I am in the camp that doesn't think he's much of a writer really. And his endings drive me mad - he just hasn't worked out how to end his books yet. I think he'd be better if h...

Marvellous! I'm sure most footy fans have felt similarly at some point! This isn't the first time the Grimsby team have had to be sorted out. I recall an interview with Lawrie McMenemy where he said he had got so fed up with his (Grimsby) players that he made them get up in the middle of the night (...

Spanish - Fairly fluently still French - Used to be fluent but a bit rusty now Italian - Enough to get by on holiday (although I can always resort to speaking Spanish with an Italian accent - seems to work fairly well).
