Re: Countdown Computer Games
8-) Ok, have to bow down to how cool Apterous is!, except i'm a bit poor at it, i think i'm going to go and read a dictionary! ha.. I just thought with the NDS's touch screen, and even the microphone it had good attributes to the Countdown style game, - the TV idea was then to bring a Wifi idea to c...

Re: Countdown Computer Games
 Ok, cool, got most of my ideas at they have already been thought of... I was never going to be the greatest of inventors, but since my chosen console for fun games is the Nintendo DS... I still think it would be great if it was launch on the nintendo so that you could play it more portably......

Re: I KNOW THE PRESENTERS ARE NEW but..........
Is it anything do to with the fact most shots of Rachel and the best word look as though they are done after the end of the game? The letters in the Vowel/Consonent boxes are always quite empty. Is it a change in filming since it never seems as though Jeff would give Rachel enough time to display it...

Countdown Computer Games
Since Countdown has relaunced itself with Jeff and Rachel, and a lovely new set - isn't it time we had a really good computer game to go along with the series? I had an amazing idea of how well it would suit the Nintendo DS.. any budding programmers? :P Just imagine, 1 Player Mode - play alone, agai...

Re: Impossible Numbers Rounds
I may be mistaken, but I read that on http://www.ukgameshows.com/page/index.php?title=Countdown ; " The original hostesses were Kathy Hytner and Beverley Isherwood, who used to select the letters and numbers cards respectively. Either Linda Barrett or Carol Vorderman was wheeled on twice a show...

Re: Impossible Numbers Rounds
I will look forward to that! :P I will seem to think it is unfair on Rachel if the numbers games are not possible to solve, what then? It may be me but if it just randomly generates a number that isn't possible then even the best maths can't get you there! Besides, i've recently read that when Carol...

Impossible Numbers Rounds
I feel that just recently there have been some really hard numbers rounds that Rachel has been unable to solve. I know some people may be wondering if this is something that Carol Vorderman would have done in 30 seconds, but what about the rounds that are just impossible? It wasn't until I found an ...

Re: Welcome! - Post here first
Hi, I'm Mark, from West Sussex. I've enjoyed watching Countdown for many years. Im not too bad at the numbers and occasionally get the conundrum (only when i've got longer than the quick fire 1 second chance), but just enjoy the whole program. I'm really enjoying Countdown at the moment and think th...
