Is TV making a comeback?

30 years ago, when most households could only get 4 channels (BBC One, BBC Two, ITV and Channel 4), between 15 million and 20 million people on the UK would gather round to watch feel-good Saturday night telly: from Blind Date to Gladiators , Noel’s House Party to Generation Game . Nowadays, anythin...

Similarly for 8 in R8: ASSONATE, and DOLOUR as an alt. in R10.

Any of the top 3 currently can still take this title, if there isn’t a 900 or 1,000 member, depending on how deep they dig in the finals. 9 or even 10 octochamps still possible – this is going to be an exciting second half of the series.

The questions for 23rd of March were good. I think the questions tend to be better and worse in different episodes over the series, in terms on ambiguity. The 45% question about the clockface had a second correct answer if you account 24-hour format, but that doesn’t make it any less unfair.

Not sure how I feel about BEYONDS being allowed. Dictionary specifies "the beyond" as the noun form which doesn't feel like it should take an S I’m inclined to agree. Apterous usually goes by what the dictionary says, when it does say so. On balance I don’t think BEYONDS should be allowed.
