Re: Getting back on for a second go
I think one of the problems with being a contestant on any of these television shows is no matter how good or competitive you are there is simply no immunity to being caught in the wrong place at the wrong time. At some point there’s just no way of escaping a evenly-matched or better opponent/compet...

Re: Unpopular opinion
I tend to think competitions are better if they reward the better player rather than purposely have chance elements. I think the conundrum being 1/9 of the game is too much. 2 numbers games is also too few. Yes, this. It’s not really as fun or interesting if on balance it’s a fickle lottery of tiny...

Golf is better than cricket. Similarly for 8 in R8: ASSONATE, and DOLOUR as an alt. in R10.
Any of the top 3 currently can still take this title, if there isn’t a 900 or 1,000 member, depending on how deep they dig in the finals. 9 or even 10 octochamps still possible – this is going to be an exciting second half of the series.

The questions for 23rd of March were good. I think the questions tend to be better and worse in different episodes over the series, in terms on ambiguity. The 45% question about the clockface had a second correct answer if you account 24-hour format, but that doesn’t make it any less unfair.
