But not everyone uses it in the same way as you. I was being hosted by a player who didn't routinely enter the selection during the rounds, but just checked occasional words if there was any doubt about them.

I don't know if this is the best place for this but the TCC word checker and the FOCAL one could be simplified by just having a selection checker. It does everything the word checker does and more.
