Am I missing something here? I have watched Countdown since its first showing in 1982, partly because it is the best "quiz" show on British TV and partly because I loved Carol Vorderman (and still do). Since Rachel Riley took the job over there has been hardly a comment on this website abo...

I have come in rather late on the subject of repeats of Classic shows and, having read the suggestions from all you experts, did you ever reach any conclusions? I rate Carol`s last show as being one of the most memorable, not only because it was a great final but it was the end of an era.

Hi Charlie. I have watched Countdown since its beginning in 1982 and was at Carol`s final show recorded last November. She invited me. I am afraid that, for me, the magic has gone out of the program but do not blame Rachel for this. She is great and the format remains the same. I dont watch it regul...
