I'm not sure this is that obvious, but "swing" in elections doesn't mean what I thought it did. If a constituency goes from e.g. 40% Tory and 20% Labour to the opposite, I always thought that was a swing of 40%, but actually it's not that . Edit - It seems the swing is half what I thought ...
