That pie chart is rubbish, Joseph. It's 3D and although you have two segments the same (24%), one looks larger than the other due to perspective. Stick to a 2D chart.

I actually played on a Countdown quiz machine once. The machine was actually a Countdown quiz machine, rather than an Itbox with plenty of other games. I managed to get the following of note:
Round 6: SMOKABLE (8) - DC beater
Round 8: SARCENET (8), ANCESTRY (8) - DC beaters (7s that are never the maximum!!)
Round 9 : ENCORES (7) - DC equaller.

Also the scoring on the facebook application is poor. You get points for whatever word you get (i.e. if I get a 7 and my opponent gets an 8, I get 7 points, he/she gets 8). I was told you're allowed to stall, as long as you're calm about it and put the handbrake on, put it into neutral, switch the key off, then start again - find the bite point and away you go. I was told you'd only get a minor for that.

I reckon it has something to do with the letters of the alphabet in code as there are only 1-26. However, if A is 1 and Z is 26 we have: USOKGDBFECLRZ. Which isn't a word. Of course not, but that is the convention. You could call it something else but as it's Countdown in Bristol, it seems good to call COBRIS, rather than CB or some other shortened name.
