Re: Spoilers for Thursday 22nd October 2020 (Series 82, Prelim 141)

The geezer got 393 by doing 100×4-7. Rachel started her 394 by doing 8/8. Just add it on to his! At the risk of being told to apply to go on the show, I think this numbers game is a perfect example of how it's socially acceptable in this country to lack basic number skills by just saying "I've neve...

I think it's probably best this ticket gets closed now, just like the apto thread has been.
Why?
+1

Transparency is key.
There is more genuine discussion to be had.
Let the topic run its course, and die a natural death.

If it is still open, I will revisit this later with a lengthy reply.

You can view the solution (and an example of the cheating) here . When asked what the thing to his right that he continually glances at was, his response was "nothing." It was at that point that everyone knew that he had cheated, and furthermore that he's horrendously bad at lying. There are still s...

In the light of recent controversies,
one of the main questions I'm pondering is that of transparency.

To what extent is transparency a priority to the ZD team?
Given a choice between being truthful with the viewers, or protecting the reputation of the show, what wins out?

The numbers one went online 5mins ago, and features input from Apterites Hazel Drury and Dan Byrom, and also a (very) brief homage to Apto creator, Charlie Reams.

I like how Ronan started the thread hoping someone would name him, then eventually had to just do it himself.
The inclusion of Ronan among these names makes far more sense in June 2020 than it did in June 2019...
Serious improvement!
