I'm right-handed but often use my left hand with keys to lock/unlock stuff. I can throw 20-30 yards flat with my left arm, so not too bad - that compares to a very strong throw with my right arm though so isn't very good relatively speaking.

ING is a strong leave (+7.14), but you have to bear in mind the board. That's the thing with Quackle, it quantifies how good those leaves are so you are in a better position to know whether it's worth sacrificing x points to keep something.

Just out of interest, and to save me googling it, (as someone who likes to send other people off to do the donkey work for her) what would be considered to be a respectable score in Scrabble? Depends on the opponent. A better measure is move average as that's generally independent of your opponent....

Cate basically had 7 very easy ones and a mildly tricky one (NAVIGABLE - false ING but with those letters there's not many plausible combinations), so I'm voted for her. Kirk's probably had the toughest run there, followed by Charlie. Although it does depend on how they were scrambled.

Needs a starting point otherwise it's just becomes a massive trial and error guessing game.

Was surprised how well I did in the duel, although a lot of them had Q/J type letters so that helps a lot. Just makes it into a regular goatundrum really. Bots need some serious balancing though, I nearly got beaten by Prune in a letters attack but they were still absolutely useless in the conundrum...

When I was doing a conundrum attack with CSW a couple of times a 10 letter scramble came up (the answer was still 9 letters). The conundrums also have multiple answers, although I'm not bothered about that.

The team on first on Tuesday didn't even make it through round 1...

The first question they got was which of these is a red admiral. The bloke was positive it was the picture of a small tortoiseshell and they smugly hit the centre button. They then managed to go downhill from there.
