Ronan's opponents are looking less like contestants and more like sacrificial lambs at this point as he attempts to have the Octochamp gods bless him with their power... poor Aaron is the second contestant to have been held to less than 15 (and would have ended up with 0 if he hadn't been blessed wi...

This month marks the tenth anniversary of my appearance on Countdown, and now I'm getting ready to reapply but also nervous for some reason. My first game was against an Octochamp and I didn't acquit myself as well as I feel I could have, and I don't want a repeat of that. AHH!

I have been trying really hard to remember exactly what happened in regards to Joe's first numbers... from what I can recall, after I'd messed up and Nick asked him to declare his working, Joe just stared at the board for several seconds before Nick stopped him and told him he'd taken too long. As I posted in the spoiler section (not to take away from Joe who's a great player), if I'd had a couple of better letters rounds and wasn't so nervous I might have been able to pull out a win but c'est la vie. Hopefully Channel 4 will move it back, and not just stick a property show in there instead.
