Re: Word of the tournament?
yeah SLUGFEST is good, VIHUELAS is wonderful for a non-apterous player (it comes up quite a bit and doesn't stem, even the singular only takes S, so it's typically always the max too). I reckon Chris's conundrum is quality too, SAUCISSON. never heard of it, don't even recognise it from online play. ...

What Mark said. Tournament wise, every single one of my games was very enjoyable (if I'm being picky, perhaps bar a couple of terrible misses against Conor which saw me quickly 14-0 down). Socially wise, the pub etc was great, lots of good banter around the pool table/quiz machine/darts board/etc Yo...

Thought it might be interesting to hear the contestants round by round thoughts like what they were picking for or what they were considering risking or what their logic was in the weird 4 large solve that got one away.

Doesn't need to be so complicated IMO - the cream will always rise to the top. I'd suggest the 10 to 15 games that are most frequently put forward by everyone who suggested, go into the final pot, regardless of any rules previously set out. We then vote on these games from 1 to 10 or some such. I do...

OK cool. I've listed 20 in a draft message to myself. We'll see if any late entries from the end of the year are good enough but it doesn't really look like it at the moment.
