Round 9 - PIONEER for 7

Did anyone get 1st numbers game? I'm not good at maths, but think this may be right:




9-5 = 4 x 8 = 32 x 10 = 320 + 6 = 326 x 3 = 978

Not sure if this right though, or if I copied the numbers down right. Think it was 5, 3, 10, 6, 8 & 9 (target 978)

I think I meant Round 11 for IMPUTES (Can't count)

IMPUTES for a 7 in Round 9

DOUBLET for another 7 in Round 5

Watching on Channel 4 + 1. PETTILY for round 9

Last Letter Game

I had DEWLAPS for 7, but just out of time (DC beater)

easier way for last numbers game:

50 + 5 times 6 x 3 (55 x 18) = 990 - 7

There's one good thing about being a maths 'o' level failure - I always see the easy way to get the numbers:

Round 5

50 + 4 = 54 times 7 + 3 = 10 (answer 540)

Why did they make such a meal of it??

Suzy said RESPITES was the only 8 for round 3. Surprised they all missed PASTRIES on a Friday aftenoon. Wish I had one now!!
