Re: Football grounds you've been to

29 in total I think but I've probably missed a few. I will just list a couple of highlights and lowlights. Highlights: Salisbury City (their old ground) - after which I got proposed to. Leeds winning promotion in 1991 at Dean Court (Bournemouth) Lowlights: Pretty much everything since 1992 at Elland...

DUSTINGS not allowed? 'Yesterday we had a light dusting of snow. Last week we had several light dustings of snow.' I'd argue it's used as a noun a lot more than some of the obscure words that are allowed.

I don't have the dress guidelines that were issued for Countdown when I was on, but I do recall they were relatively easy to comply with. Here is an example of what other shows state: " Due to television cameras and lights causing a lot of restrictions on what you can wear, please read the following...

I actually like to know the meanings of words and do try to find out the meaning of a lot of the more commonly-played obscure words (if that isn't an oxymoron). However, there are a lot of words in the dictionary so it is inevitable that we will all spot and play words whose meanings we don't know. ...

I never had any intention of ending up in market research and, indeed, had no idea such a job existed.
