One thing I do find a bit bizarre about Susie is that when a word is one she doesn't know she'll read it with completely the wrong pronunciation even though it tells to how to pronounce it in the entry. I always thought that a lollypop was more general trickery (from the rhyming slang: lollypop stick = trick), like stepovers or feints rather than something akin to a nutmeg.
