Re: Survey on AV
Done. I think the AV notion ought to be expanded to other forms of life, like the Olympics. So at the final medal table we might get: USA 45 Gold, 66 Silver, 54 Bronze UK 0 Gold, 15 Silver, 33 Bronze. We could then say, "Hey, we came second in 15 events yet haven't got a single Gold. That's not...

These Specials really are special as the atmosphere is nearly always so different to a 'normal' game. And on that last letters game you had to be thinking that the only way Lee can win is to come up with a nine....... and he did. And left it to the last few seconds to spot the crucial conundrum. You can only vote if you are on the electoral roll. Prisoners are not if they are lifers. For those in for shorter periods of time AND are on the electoral roll, I see little harm in giving them a postal vote for their home constituency but not in favour of the whole of Wormwood Scrubs voting for th...

OK, Michael, thought it was a bit higher than that, so I have a better example. These results of the "100 people surveyed" are perverse. I argued about it on here last year and got shot down by Michael W and Charlie because I was doubtful that as many as 17 people in a 100 would know an obscure pop artist from the 50's... Alexander says that "Before the show we a...
