Not sure if this is a bug or not, but in my Daily Duel game today (Game 213349, 5:47 am), the game wasn't accepting any offerings I made in the letters rounds (RASIED, SOMBRE, MOUSE etc), the game declared them invalid and I scored no points for them.

Thank you Jason :) Basically being shortlisted means you have a very good chance of getting an appearance on the show but the producers have to be certain that in each show there is a wide mix of people to play the game e.g. they wouldn't want too many men or women in one show, too many younger peop...

UPDATE: Just recieved a letter telling me that I have been shortlisted as a contestant! So happy that I passed the audition and now it's a matter of waiting to see if I get on the show (being shortlisted doesn't mean a guaranteed appearance on the show)

The audition went OK, been told i'll know within 2-4 weeks if I'm on the final shortlist. It went quite quickly and didn't take as long as I thought it would. Heights and small dogs for example, Highland Terriers, which to me are more vicious than big dogs which I love such as St. Bernard dogs and that big dog that was on Sesame Street.

My Scottish Higher results came today and I'm feeling OK about them except for one:

Four B's for English, Maths, Classical Studies and Chemistry but I failed Drama which I am furious with myself about :x

Hoping to use them to do English at Uni so I'm happy with the B in English.

IF C4 was to ditch the show, would the show work somewhere else i.e another channel? I'll ask this probably knowing the answer but I'll ask it for the heck of asking to guage the forum's opinions.

Change can be a good thing, people come and go but Countdown is still Countdown - I just hope whatever happens now, the show doesn't change beyond recognition and end up vanishing from the screen and that whoever takes over from Des and Carol fit in well to the show.

As much as I like Alison (Alison being in DC during my recording and me not getting to meet Susie) and what she has brought to the show in Susie's absence, I do feel that Susie will always be what I associate with Dictionary Corner and she should come back permanently.
