Exciting game again. Paul was more consistent today, though pleasingly still taking risks with interesting words. Confusingly Chambers and OED have FURBISHER^, which I got moments before realising that REFURBISH was more likely.

Getting On - Jo Brand

If you didn't catch it, Jo Brand's new comedy Getting On is well worth watching. Several laugh-out-loud moments in the spoof fly-on-the-wall format, with sharp writing and good acting. I'll be following this one. Did anyone else see it?

To be fair, Andrew wasn't brought onto the show to be eloquent or charming. Jonathan Ansell, on the other hand, was actually paid for telling dull stories that didn't go anywhere and ending virtually every sentence with "...er, so yeah." Go figure. My mother liked Jonathan Ansell, but she...
